BOM- Bill of Material is the essential part of a project as well as product and helps in finalizing the overall cost of a project going to cost. Every user or developer working on some project or product need to know the cost of components and total cost going to spend on a project and for this, one has to create a list and then, calculate the cost of the individual component.  If you are using Proteus 8 ISIS professional software, you must have noticed the Bill of Material feature which can help you to analyze and auto-create the list of components used in your circuit diagram.  Steps to create BOM of a circuit: 1. Click on the " dollar icon " option on the GUI list bar below the main menu bar.  2. Here, you will see the list of all components used in your circuit diagram.  3. Now, you can add value or their cost by using the 'Unit Value' option from the left side options. 4. You can generate your list in Excel or HTML or PDF view.

Google this week announced a new feature for Gmail and Google Docs that allows users to hand write their emails and documents using their computer mouse or trackpad. "Whether you’re a student trying to include a foreign phrase in your paper or an international consultant hoping to begin your message with a friendly local greeting, now you’ll be able to use your own handwriting to input words directly into Gmail and Google Docs with your mouse or trackpad," Google said in a blog post. As you might figure, the handwriting feature isn't geared primarily to English-writing users. Rather, the feature has been added for users who find it more convenient to write words in their language instead of typing them out. Micromax has unveiled the latest and its first smartphone with full-HD display, the Canvas Turbo at Rs. 19,990 . The smartphone will be available in retail outlets starting Saturday and will be come in two colour variants, Blue and White. Specification: The Micromax Canvas Turbo features a 5-inch full-HD CGS (Continuous Grain Silicon) IPS display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589T (Turbo) processor along with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone runs Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and comes with FOTA support. In the race to bring the first true octa core processor, Samsung, Apple etc. have been beaten by a relatively unknown smartphone maker. Chinese smartphone, UMI X2S, has taken the podium with the MediaTek MT6592 system on chip processor powering it. The device was reportedly showcased at an electronics fair in Hong Kong recently. A true octa core processor is that where all the eight cores can function simultaneously.  MediaTek’s processor is not the only octa core chip available for mobile processing at the moment, but, it was the first. Samsung Electronics have released a smartphone with a curved display and a $1,000 price tag. The Galaxy Round has a curved 5.7-inch screen using advanced display technology called organic light-emitting diode, or OLED, technology with1080p HD display; runs Android 4.3; and has Samsung's big-phone staples such as Multi Window and one-handed operation modes, just like the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 does. The Galaxy Round has a 13-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, plus a 2-megapixel camera up front. Also look for 1080p HD video capture, which is standard on higher-end Samsung smartphones. It includes a 2.3GHz MSM 8974 quad-core processor, 32GB of internal storage, 3GB RAM, expandable up-to-64GB; and available with 2,800mAh battery.  Samsung said the curve will make it easier to grip. A Germany Firm Zollner Elektronik AG, an electronics maker, has made the fiction stories dragon in real life. Samsung does not want to lose No.1 smartphone manufacturing company. A new smartphone by Samsung has apparently been leaked in Japan. According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy J is looking similar to the HTC butterfly J launched last year in Japanese market. Hence, Samsung could also confined this handset to the Japanese market. Express PCB is a very easy to use Windows application for laying out printed circuit boards. One will find a rectangular box on Express PCB screen with yellow colored border. This rectangular can be expanded using only three corner points not the first one as it is fixed as the reference. A beginner can create his or her circuit diagram for PCB in this rectangle only.
