Tips to boost your subscribers
A web feed is a format for providing data from a frequently updated content source, like a blog, to users. Rather than manually visiting your blog every day to see if you have published new content, people who subscribe to your blog’s feed can see your new content in their e-mail inbox or their feed reader, depending on how they subscribe to receive content from your blog.
Aside from the most obvious tip to boost subscribers to your blog—write great content that people want to read—there are other tricks you can use to remind and encourage people to subscribe. Following are a few easy and effective suggestions.
Allow Subscriber to easily subscribe your blog:
- Be sure to include links to subscribe to your blog via feed reader or e-mail in an easy-to-see space on your blog, such as at the top of your sidebar. You can use the subscription links and forms like feedburner link so that anyone subscribe your blog content via e-mail, or you can use feedback form to know what other think about your blog.
Ask people to Subscribe:
- Include a closing at the end of your blog posts that invites subscribers such as, “If you liked this blog post, why not subscribe to my blog via feed reader or e-mail?” Be sure to link both “feed reader” and “e-mail” to the same URLs people land on if they click both sign-up links in your blog’s sidebar.
Use of Welcome WordPress plugin:
- A WordPress plug-in called What Would Seth Godin Do (WWSGD) can help you get more subscribers to your blog. The WWSGD plug-in uses browser cookies to identify new versus returning visitors to a website for marketing purposes to identify new versus returning visitors to your blog. Once installed, you can write a custom message for new visitors and a separate custom message for returning visitors, which you can position at the beginning or end of your blog posts. You can even configure how many times a new visitor will see the “new visitor” message before he or she will receive the “returning” visitor message.
For example, you could configure a message for new visitors that says, “If you’re new here, you may want to subscribe to the RSS feed. Thanks for visiting.” The words “RSS feed” should link to your subscription page.

8051 is a popular 8-bit microcontroller and has been used in many applications since Intel introduced it. Many 8051 architecture are produced by Triscend, Intel, Atmel, Philips, Infineon (Siemens), ISSI, and Max Corp. Today, 8051 microcontrollers may not be popular but, the 8051 architecture is still popular and employed in thousands of embedded applications. The delay length in 8051 microcontroller depends on three factors: The crystal frequency the number of clock per machine the C compiler. The original 8051 used 1/12 of the crystal oscillator frequency as one machine cycle. In other words, each machine cycle is equal to 12 clocks period of the crystal frequency connected to X1-X2 pins of 8051. To speed up the 8051, many recent versions of the 8051 have reduced the number of clocks per machine cycle from 12 to four, or even one. The frequency for the timer is always 1/12th the frequency of the crystal attached to the 8051, regardless of the 8051 version. In other words, AT89C51, DS5000, and DS89C4x0 the duration of the time to execute an instruction varies, but they all use 1/12th of the crystal's oscillator frequency for the clock source. 8051 has two different ways to generate time delay using C programming, regardless of 8051 version.
