Q1. Will my existing Device run BB10?
- From the feedback that we have right now, this seems to be ruled out. If you have a BlackBerry Playbook, you can run BB10 OS on that. Easily upgrade of old version to new version can be done.
Q2. Will BB10 have only touchscreen phones?
- The company has mentioned that there would be both full touchscreen as well as QWERTY keyboard devices. The device information is still under wraps.
Q3. Will my old phone continue to work, or would i need to upgrade to keep BlackBerry services working?
- Existing devices would continue to give the current level of service. There is no need to replace them unless you want access to the new features.
Q4. Is BB10 just a visual upgrade? All i see is a shiny new version?
- For each software update, there is a change in the way you interact with the operating system, which you do not experience till you get access to the device. The manner in which the OS works and interacts has been changed. There is a seen change in BlackBerry Environment.
Hopefully, you have get all your answers about the important questions. More questions will come up after the launch and use of new version of BlackBerry.
