But, many of us have met the error occurred during update of WordPress. I have noticed many discussion on it on WordPress forum on which blogger have reported that WordPress database error occurred when they tried to update the WordPress. This also happened with me too and i could not resolve the issue as it is always suggested the keep backup of your website database so that you can retrieve your content.
So, i decided you to guide those new bloggers who are new to WordPress so that in future they won't get any error while any update made by WordPress.
Follow these steps to avoid error:
1. Download Backup: First step is the basic and most important in which you have to download backup of all your blog so that any problem you will face, can be encountered.
3. Switch to Default theme: You might have installed third party theme to your WordPress blog, so immediately switch to default theme which you see first time during installation of your blog. Theme also create error in updating WordPress and thus, return database error which can be frustrated for non-developer or don't have any programming knowledge.
4. Clean your Database: Must visit your Web directory and check there should be not any temporary files which can cause problem in updating your blog. You can create Cron jobs which automatically delete temporary files from your web hosting space and also enhance your visitors experience.
