If you have prepared and confident about your preparation, don't panic. Just relax and revise the syllabus and topics in mind, it will help you better memorize the topics during the exam. Although little expect prayers and luck can help students who have never gone to lectures or crack the books in their whole semester. There is one helpful technique for students who have fallen behind at mid-term and finals.
First, find a topper friend and pick up the most important topics that have most of the chances to come from the book. Learn the important details and knowledge on that topics and try to elaborate while writing the exam answers. Spend 25% of your time cramming and 75% drilling yourself. The key to cramming is memorization. Recite, Repeat and then, Relax. Although cramming can't replace learning, it's counter-productive to scold yourself for not studying more effectively.
Secondly, crack previous year papers in less time and find their proper answers. Sometimes, previous year questions in Semester exam come or related to them. So, it will help you write good points in your answers. Try to write more elaborated and detailed answers, if you know something important topic representing the question. Use your logical knowledge about the topic to write correct point by cracking the meaning of the question.
