WordPress, the biggest blogging software on Internet, is used by many blogger across the world. The available of free themes and plugins help anyone to build website in simple steps. But, with advantages, there is always some elements which can spoil your blogging and work. The hacking of a website may destroy all of your work done by you for years.
It is true that you may totally, can't prevent a site from hack but, you can keep some precautions to keep it safe. If you have very much knowledge about programming languages, you can easily prevent hacking of your site. But, what about those who simply depend on free plugins and themes of WordPress. For them, I have made this tutorial to restore your hacked WordPress site using these simple steps.
2. In Database category, you will see My Php Admin option. Click on it. Some browser may not allow you to enter directly to your Php Admin page. So, click on the 'Allow' option (top right corner of the page) after clicking My Php Admin option.
3. Now, select the database of your website made at the time of installation of WordPress. It will be under the options on left hand side of your Php Admin page widget. Default WordPress database is named as "_wrdp1"
4. Again, see the My php left sidebar options, there will be 'wp_users' option. Click on it and you will be redirected to data of the admin.
5. In table "wp_users" find the Administrator account with column/field "user_login" with value entered as admin or . Now, click on the Edit option as described in the image.
6. On editing page, you will see the hacker details and changed settings done by anonymous person. Change the settings of "user_login", "user_nickname", "user_email" and "display_name" as marked in the image and Click on save and go option below the page. The details entered by you should be corrected as it will be used to log-in your WordPress admin page.
7. Now, log out of your website Cpanel and enter the url of wp-admin page of your website. Click on the Lost Password option available on the log-in page of wp-admin panel.
8. Enter your email address that you have saved in your Php admin settings. After that, you will receive an email by WordPress with a link to reset your password.It is true that you may totally, can't prevent a site from hack but, you can keep some precautions to keep it safe. 10 Steps to recover your hacked WordPress Site:
1. Log-in to your website Cpanel. And then, Click on Database category option of your Cpanel homepage.2. In Database category, you will see My Php Admin option. Click on it.
