Today, every working man sits in the front of computer at least 6 hours a day. Many people encounter with strain in eyes after a long day of work and may also have other negative effects on their eyes. These negative effects can also effect vision of our eyes. So, i would like to post some tips to soothe your eyes after a long work and can also help you in avoiding any negative effects.
1. Flutter your Lashes: Occasionally batting your eyes is not only a alluring trail but also relieve the eyes. Blinking is very important when working on a computer as it re-wets your eyes and helps in avoiding irritation and dryness.
2. Light it up: Overhead lighting and bright light emanating from your monitor are tough on the eyes. Use table lamps off to other side of your work area. Your monitor throws its own light, so you really need adequate indirect light around you.
3. Glassy Treatment: Use anti glare spectacles while working on the computer to reduce eyes strain.
4. Placing it right: Place your monitor right in front of you, not off to one side to protect your eyes.
5. Keep your eyes hydrated: Keep your eyes hydrated and moist. You can splash your eyes with cold when you feel strain. This can be done after regular intervals to soothe your eyes. Consult a doctor for eye drops to keep eyes hydrated and avoid irritation.
