Technology Added to new Microsoft's Xbox One

Xbox One launched with sport sharp-angled, glossy-black boxy looks and redesigned controller and Kinect unit. If i take the review posted on CNET, it has been very good gaming console with better-connected way of linking TV, games, and entertainment in one unit. Yes, you can experience Live TV as part of your Xbox One via HDMI-in port. The Xbox One has added the voice command feature that lets you perform PC function and engage in Skype, or pull up fantasy sports stats while watching a game.

If we go inside the specification, it includes an eight-core processor and graphics made by AMD, 8GB of RAM, Blu-ray, USB 3.0, HDMI in/out, and a 500GB hard drive and having a 1080p camera, Skype connectivity, and understanding of rotational movement in a structure. These may not be the new features added by Microsoft in Xbox One.

But, i want to share what i found in new Xbox- Heart Sensing Technology that adds the ability to the Xbox One to sense your heart rate and show it on screen. It is able to do this optically through Eulerian Video Magnification, basically magnifying properties in standard video output in order to discover your pulse rate.

This technology made possible to change your game and gaming experience according to the data collected by Heart Sensors, so that game can automatically adjust content to suit your excitement level. But, this technology is working better for the category of sports gaming. The players playing games in this category, would be able to see their heart rate and would find changes in their play. This could be better way of using games as a form of exercise to help players monitor their calorie loss while they play.

In the Xbox One gaming world, heart rate sensor can also dictate things such as player fatigue. It means that it will display your signs of fatigue, the player is most likely to experience in real life if the player is playing with elevated heart rate for a long time. However, if player keeps his heart rate at certain level, it can keep him in game for long time without substitution.

This definitely going to be revolutionized the video games and how they are played. However, Xbox One has shown the enough improvements to make anyone by it and experience the new level of gaming with better streaming-video device which was also seen in the Xbox 360.

Buzzer interface with 8051 microcontroller

Buzzer  is a electronic device that converts the electronic signal into buzzing noise, that is applied to it. It can be used as electronic bell or as quiz buzzer in many applications around us. Here, i world like to discuss the interfacing of a small buzzer with 8051 microcontroller and how different projects can be constructed. Buzzer Interfacing: This project shows the interface with AT89S52 microcontroller to a buzzer. When a push button is pressed, the buzzer will get ON and OFF ( number of times set in the code ) and then stops. Circuit Diagram: - The port P1 of the microcontroller is connected to buzzer. This type of connection is possible, if the current requirements of the buzzer is not more than 20mA. The output is in current source mode so that buzzer will turn ON when the output of the port is logic LOW. Switch is connected to port P3 which remains at logic HIGH by pull up resistor.  Code: #include "REG52.h" #define buz P1 sbit SW=P3^0; long i...

Comparison Chart Between 8051, 8052, 8031and 8751

8051 is a popular 8-bit microcontroller and has been used in many applications since Intel introduced it. Many 8051 architecture are produced by Triscend, Intel, Atmel, Philips, Infineon (Siemens), ISSI, and Max Corp. Today, 8051 microcontrollers may not be popular but, the 8051 architecture is still popular and employed in thousands of embedded applications. This 8-bit architecture has been different segments such as 8052, 8051, 8751 and 8031 . 8052 is the super-set of 8051 and 8031 is the memory-less microcontroller hence, it has interfaced with external ROM. Whereas, 8751 chip has only 4Kbytes of on chip UV-EPROM. Everyone knows about the general 40-pin microcontroller i.e. 8051 introduced by Intel in 1980s and consists of serial communication pins, Timer, Interrupts, RAM, ROM. It has 4 ports and each port has 8 pins, total 32 pins and other 8 pins for other purposes. 8052 is the super-set of 8051 that consists of 8K bytes of internal RAM (4K in 8051), 256 by...

Today, you think that only smartphones are getting smart and daily launched with new technology. So, look at Samsung T9000 refrigerator that is installed with 10-inch touchscreen running on Android OS and having Wi-Fi feature included with apps such as Epicurious for recipes and Evernote for note-taking. In fact, this fridge has been launched in the Consumer Electronics Show 2013, Vegas and it will be available at $3999. Innovation inside the refrigerator T9000: - The Samsung T9000 is a 32-cubic-foot, four-door fridge that has two compressors, three evaporators and a large number of various sensors with storage capacity of 722 liters. The innovation added is 10-inch Wi-Fi enabled touchscreen that can help you navigate Internet and help you to decide what should be cooked and what are the recipes. Features: One can also create shopping list using the Evernote app and this list can be viewed on your smartphone with synchronizing feature. It help...
