Interactive Software features of HTC One Smartphone

HTC One launched with new interactive features and better look than any other smartphone in the market. We have discussed the features of HTC One and compared it with Samsung S4 and iPhone 5 flagship phones. Now, let's discuss the features added on the HTC One and whether it stands in the clash of Android Smartphone market or not.
User Interface/Features of HTC One:
- It has been launched with 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor with 2GB RAM onboard and introducing high density pixels per inch of 468, highest among all flagship phones, with the concept of Ultrapixels. While usual smartphone camera offer pixels of size 1.1 microns on an average, the HTC One's camera offers a pixel size of 2 microns(µm). The phone has a dedicated HTC ImageChip 2 chip, which allows users to take faster shots and better shots in all light conditions and movement. The phone has another attractive feature that adjusts the intensity of the camera flash as per distance from the subject.

The phone also includes a new camera mode called HTC Zoe that automatically captures up to 20 photos and 3-second videos. The interesting bit about it is that you can view photos and Zoe clip together in slideshows that allows to add music tracks, and transition effects, allowing you to capture action and make a particular event come to life.

HTC One run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean version OS and Sense 5 with skinned interface screen. By default, Sense 5 only uses two home screen pages: one with a traditional grid for apps and widgets and the default screen with a redesigned clock and BlinkFeed, although more pages can still be added. Skinning in Sense 5 is minimal compared to previous versions, and icons have been toned down, and appear flat in HTC One. HTC introduced the new featured technology with better looks and a new scrolling news aggregator on the home screen known as "BlinkFeed " which displays the news headlines and social network content of your choice or category you selected on the home screen of HTC smartphones. BlinkFeed gets time and weather report on the screen by default but you can select the any other home screen as default screen for yourself.

HTC One gets the ring-like lock feature that allowed user to unlock the screen and straight away jump on the Phone, Messages and Camera apps. But, you can now choose between five lock screen styles namely, wallpaper, productivity, photo album, music and a no lock screen option.

HTC replaced the 3D UI interface with flat app grid preview for up to 6 apps. It also offers 3-finger output gesture that, if enabled, allows users to turn on HTC Media Link HD output to TV. The Android 4.1 introduced Google Now feature for the HTC One, which collects information based on the user's behavior, location, and even email, to offer information automatically. Google Now is a voice based information assistant and an extension of Google search. You can ask questions and the software application will return answers in the form of Google search results.

The app launcher has also undergone some changes and it now offers vertical scrolling. Apps can be sorted alphabetically, and according to recency. App search is integrated within the launcher. One can arrange apps in a grid of 3x4 or 4x5. The HTC One allows you to restore, transfer and import content from your previous device. The phone supports restoring content through iPhone backups and during our use we discovered that iPhone contacts can be imported even via Bluetooth.
Verdict by NDTV gadgets news:
Anyone can fall love with HTC One looks and design. The overall verdict by NDTV gadgets is positive and rating 4.5 (out of 5) in terms of display, design and performance. This phone offers brilliant HD screen with better image quality and having decent battery backup. If anyone wants to try another cool featured and better designed Android Smartphone, HTC One is good one to try costing Rs.42,900.

Buzzer interface with 8051 microcontroller

Buzzer  is a electronic device that converts the electronic signal into buzzing noise, that is applied to it. It can be used as electronic bell or as quiz buzzer in many applications around us. Here, i world like to discuss the interfacing of a small buzzer with 8051 microcontroller and how different projects can be constructed. Buzzer Interfacing: This project shows the interface with AT89S52 microcontroller to a buzzer. When a push button is pressed, the buzzer will get ON and OFF ( number of times set in the code ) and then stops. Circuit Diagram: - The port P1 of the microcontroller is connected to buzzer. This type of connection is possible, if the current requirements of the buzzer is not more than 20mA. The output is in current source mode so that buzzer will turn ON when the output of the port is logic LOW. Switch is connected to port P3 which remains at logic HIGH by pull up resistor.  Code: #include "REG52.h" #define buz P1 sbit SW=P3^0; long int i; voi

How to Switch OFF Citizen Calculator

You might be confused on seeing no OFF button on your calculator. Actually, these are general calculator available at low cost in the market. They process simple calculations like division, subtraction, Addition, Multiplication. But, how will you OFF that calculator having no option on them. There is always a trick which OFF them. It depends on the company calculator and their series to which they belong. I can tell you about Citizen Calculator CT-500 (as you can see in the image), how can you switch OFF it and can save battery too. If you leave calculator idle for 6-7 minutes, it will goes OFF automatically. My calculator goes OFF in 6.50 minutes from the point of leaving it idle. But, this is not the power saving trick for these types of calculator having not much backup battery. To save the power of your normal calculator, here is the trick to switch OFF it. Press ' /(divide sign)', 'x(multiply sign)', '%(percentage sign)', 'autoreplay option(

Different ways to generate delays in 8051

The delay length in 8051 microcontroller depends on three factors: The crystal frequency the number of clock per machine the C compiler. The original 8051 used 1/12 of the crystal oscillator frequency as one machine cycle. In other words, each machine cycle is equal to 12 clocks period of the crystal frequency connected to X1-X2 pins of 8051. To speed up the 8051, many recent versions of the 8051 have reduced the number of clocks per machine cycle from 12 to four, or even one. The frequency for the timer is always 1/12th the frequency of the crystal attached to the 8051, regardless of the 8051 version. In other words, AT89C51, DS5000, and DS89C4x0 the duration of the time to execute an instruction varies, but they all use 1/12th of the crystal's oscillator frequency for the clock source. 8051 has two different ways to generate time delay using C programming, regardless of 8051 version. The first method is simply using Loop   program function in which Delay() function i
