Burn Hex file in microcontroller using SPI-pgm

SPIPgm is a flash programmer, used either for in-system programming or as a stand-alone serial flash programmer for the Atmel SPI programmable devices. The programmer hardware interface is controlled by the PC parallel port and the parallel port control signals are freely selected by the user. The software supports both the 8051(AT89s52) and AVR series devices.

It is the easiest flash programmer to burn hex file in micro-controller as you no need of extra knowledge or training to operate or run this software

Follow easy steps to load hex file into micro-controller:

- Download SPIPgm software and install it.
- Make shortcut on desktop and Double-click on it. The image below is the screenshot that will open.


- As you can see right hand side of picture above, the required serial number microcontroller.
- Now, Press the erase option to erase and clear memory of the microcontroller.
- Press the open file option and select the hex file according to the destination where you have stored it.
- Now last and easy step, Press program option to burn hex file in your micrcontroller and this stores the program in your microcontroller.

Now, your microcontroller is ready to use in your project work...

Different ways to generate delays in 8051

The delay length in 8051 microcontroller depends on three factors: The crystal frequency the number of clock per machine the C compiler. The original 8051 used 1/12 of the crystal oscillator frequency as one machine cycle. In other words, each machine cycle is equal to 12 clocks period of the crystal frequency connected to X1-X2 pins of 8051. To speed up the 8051, many recent versions of the 8051 have reduced the number of clocks per machine cycle from 12 to four, or even one. The frequency for the timer is always 1/12th the frequency of the crystal attached to the 8051, regardless of the 8051 version.
